This was an absolute pleasure to spin!
A friend sent me two pieces of handpainted roving.
I spun this skein from the smaller piece.
The fleece I've been carding and spinning till now has a very short staple
whereas this roving was long, soft and a joy to draft.

More sock yarn came in the mail. I ordered this from a German vendor.
Sockina & Opal are made in Germany but Comfort is made in Italy.
I'm now searching from where exactly since we'll be vacationing
in southern Italy in August. I'm hoping to find some more there
at a less expensive price.

100% wool plied with cotton. There's only 67 yards (38 grams) here but it was great practice in plying my homespun with another fiber.
