Hand spun, hand dyed Corriedale wool

I got this from my cousin who was cleaning out my aunt's belongings after she passed away last year. In the '60s, this Canadian made wool was all the rage for curling sweaters. It was produced in a city close to mine.

I'm spinning each of the 6 strands separately and will ply it onto itself. It should produce a worsted weight yarn. I might even try dyeing it a dark blue or purple. With the grey, it should produce a nice heathery shade.
